Misty Tattoo Studio Policies:
Thank you for choosing Misty Tattoo Studio. Please read the following policies before booking your appointment.

Deposits:
A £40 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
However this price will fluctuate depending on a larger designs or day sessions.
Your deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Please provide 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
With sufficient notice, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a £20 cancellation fee will apply to cover the lost appointment time. If the cancellation fee isn’t paid then you will not be rebooked until that has been paid. Depending on circumstances
If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, your deposit will be forfeited and a new £40 deposit will be required to book again.

Illness:
If you are unwell, please do not attend your appointment.
Your appointment can be rescheduled and your deposit transferred up to two times due to illness. Any further rescheduling due to illness will require a new £40 deposit.

Lateness:
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
I allow up to 30 minutes for late arrivals. After this, your appointment may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Genuine emergencies will always be considered.

Guests:
As Misty Tattoo Studio is a private, appointment-only studio, you’re welcome to bring up to two guests.

For safety reasons:
If you wish to bring someone under the age of 18 they have to be accompanied by another adult above the age of 18.
Please ensure your guests respect the studio environment.

Age Verification:
You must be 18 years or older to be tattooed.
If you’re asked to provide valid photo ID and cannot do so, you must arrange for someone to bring it to you or your appointment will need to be rescheduled, due to the challenge 25 scheme.

Design Changes:
Small changes to your design can usually be made on the day of your appointment.
If you decide on a completely different design, your appointment will be rescheduled to allow enough time to redraw and prepare your new tattoo.

Touch-Ups:
One free touch-up is included within 3 months of your tattoo being completed.
Touch-ups requested after this period may be chargeable depending on the work required.

Payment
The remaining balance is due upon completion of your tattoo.

Precare & Aftercare:
A precare information sheet will be provided when your appointment is booked.
Once your tattoo is complete, you’ll receive an aftercare sheet with everything you need to ensure your tattoo heals properly.

Right to Refuse Service:
Misty Tattoo Studio reserves the right to refuse or stop any appointment if:

You arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
You behave in an abusive, threatening or disrespectful manner.
It is deemed unsafe to continue the tattoo for any reason.
You fail to follow studio policies or provide valid ID when requested.
